Bruce, thank you for connecting me to this beautiful and loving tribute to Marcia through the Friends Select News. I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved Marcia. Your tribute to her life is so loving and special. I watched some of the videos and intend to watch more. The story told by your longtime friends Greg and Margaret of your courtship with Marcia made me feel like I was there with you. I loved the hippo post card story… funny! I only had the opportunity to meet Marcia briefly at a FSS reunion but I so enjoyed seeing and feeling how much she loved you. You indeed found your partner in life and I understand the loss of that relationship leaves a large empty space in your heart. As a believer I know that you will meet her again when we all pass one and I'd bet she'll be ready at the Pearly Gates with confetti... stay safe and well old firmed.+... Collapse

Hi Bruce …
I wanted to thank you for this beautiful video memorial in honor of your beloved wife, Marcia
Swanson Capriotti. I listened to all the chapters.
It took me a few months to go through all of them but I enjoyed learning more about Marcia’s life after she left Geneva High School as our history teacher.
Miss Swanee sure endured many different medical procedures related to her diabetes and was a true survivor. I was amazed how she continued to engage in all of her volunteer activities and have the stamina to get through each day. She touched so many peoples lives over the years and was a friend to many. It was also great to hear the special memories and stories from so many of her her friends from all over the country.
I’m glad you both were able to travel together and enjoy many different countries all over the world and in the US. I’m sure you have many
wonderful memories to cherish from all of the pictures you took.
Lastly, thank you Bruce for being such a loving, caring and devoted husband and caregiver to Marcia over the 40 years you were married. I’ve been a caregiver to my folks and my in-laws, so I know what you’ve gone through. You were a faithful and loving partner who was always at her side until the end of her life.
